Do you ever get mad at your significant other?

| When does it usually happen?
I get upset sometimes but I don't get mad nor lash out at them. I don't talk to my partner mostly when I'm upset about something that they did because I'm afraid of saying something that would hurt them more.

| Not my significant other (im single) but i get mad at ones im in love with. Kinda really bad... But my emotions just go boomboom

| There was one time my gf and I were arguing, she has bpd. At one point it was really bad where she was depressed and contemplating suicide. I didn't want her to harm herself or anything; so I told her, I hate that I'm in love with you." It really hurt her, and the two of us broke down. It was the dumbest thing I've ever told her, and I apologized to her a lot for what I said. We still love each other regardless, but I look back at it as stupidest thing I've done in our relationship

Damn...
I hope you've gotten better at handling her episodes. Saying and doing the wrong shit when someone's in a state like that is, well, I probably don't have to tell you. I wish you the best of luck.

That actually reminds of something I can, though it's not a significant other. It's a close friend, and he has a couple similar diagnosis. Schizophrenia, PTSD, that kinda stuff.

I called the police on him once when he was extremely suicidal, and he hates the police.

| I wasn't exactly mad. It was more like extremely frustrated and worried. Like, I didn't call out of malice but rather out of worry, but it also was, like, if you're not listening to me and I'm not enough reason for you to live then I'll have the police force you out of it.

Turned out I had actually managed to talk him out of it though, and the police never arrived (they didn't find him). But that's, like, the most drastic thing I've ever done towards someone I love.

| I never get mad at my significant other but that's because he's 2D and perfect
