friend i've known for nearly 4 years randomly ghosted me
| Shit sucks. I haven't been outright fully blocked and shit by someone I've known for that long, but I have been suddenly cut off by people I thought were close friends and I've had people I've known and been friends with for even more than 4 years just kinda, stop interacting with me in any way at all.
It's never fun, but as you said, it is what it is. Just gotta move on.

From experience I can say that it's usually just something with them. If they have a problem with something you do they'll most likely confront you about it, not block you on every platform.

Yeah, this. I actually think I know who you are and you stopped talking to me after, like, 2-3 days. I don't blame you though. I know those feelings and while I talk about how much it sucks when someone does it to you, it's not like I haven't done it myself, and it sucks even when you're the one doing it. It's just not fun to go through overall for nobody involved, but sometimes that's just how it's gotta be.
| I did this to someone after they told me that they weren't my friend anymore. A few months later they text me apologising, and asking them to add them to facebook.
I also did this to a roomate who's mother broke into my room and tore through it. He was fine with it and said that ut was normal and that he'd give back the thing he borrowed earlier. LIKE WHAT M8!? He also didn't do laundry, ate raw ground meat&eggs, did hard drugs (as I figured out later), and raped his 'girlfriend'.
| Were you really friends at all? I had a group of friends for 3 years and it kinda broke off. There was one guy of them, that i know, but i never had really any connections with him. Like the one you would see with the group but never meet alone. And overall we just were kinda acquainces. He was really mad when i didnt text him in 8 months after the breakup with the group. Our relationship apart from some jokes and always seeing us at the parties were just nothing.
| the definition of a friendship is different for everyone. Just doing stuff together is friendship for some people. And idk i "ghosted" or atleast they had least priority, when i didnt had any connections with them at all and if the conversations were empty. I hate it when people want to have the status "friendship" so badly and then you are the bad one because you dont act according to the rules of friendship that you didnt even agree to and its all about how they are feeling

| this is the first time this has happened to me and man, he blocked me on all social media and won't talk to at all. never had this happen before but i guess it is what it is
