I can't get over the loss of my dog.

| He passed away last year and he died a few days after we took him from the vet to get nexguard. The vet said it's okay for them even though they're senior dogs but he started going weak and he just waited for me to come back home to work and carry him before breathing his last. I do my best not to think about it too much because it still stings like it happened yesterday. I practically grew up with him which makes it more difficult. (He died at 11).
Tips on how to cope with loss?
