Ah, I get what you mean now, and I guess I'd feel the same way if I were you.
I'm russian and most of the time foreigners try to say something using my native language it's just curses, the infamous сука and блять in particular. That rarely feels adorable （´ヘ｀；）

Yeah, I get that. Memey stuff like that isn't super fun, but when someone is just very genuinely trying their best to say something nice in your language it's the most adorablest and heartwarming thing ever!
Also when people just try their best to have conversations even though they aren't fluent, but they still give it their all! It's so cute and motivating!
| I guess it depends on why they're trying to speak it. Most of them are trying their best to learn and it's very cute. But it feels somewhat insulting when they grab a random word and then try to say it the way they speak it in their language.

I, wha? I mean, I do speak it as a second language for, you know, global communication and stuff. It's a better language than Norwegian though, which is my first language. Norwegian just has the very basics to be called a language, but somehow still overcomplicates some stuff. English has a bit more depth and expression and basically everyone in the world can speak it, so it's convenient tmas well.

No way José. Noweigan accents are sooo sexy on women. The only accent that tops it might be Danish but it's harder to understand.
