For example, your house got hit by a massive storm that it knocked off your electricity and your connections to the outside world with only few sources of emergency power for your devices, what do you do?

If there's no flooding and my house is still standing, I guess I'll just hunker down. When the storm's over I'll check with the neighbors, see if there's anything we can do to fix the power, make sure there's a good supply of food and water.

There was this really massive storm that took down power here for months. Not exactly the same situation. Played offline apps, but couldn't do that all the time because we can't afford to have our lousy generator running all the time. You could do that.
After a while I made a tabletop game to play with my family. Made it similar to Hand of Fate. Cards laid out on the table, you move along the cards and events happen.

Equipment cards, curses, etc. It was pretty fun. I should do that in my spare time
