What does this word mean to you? People sometimes tell me that I have it, but, it seems wrong. To me "wisdom" is sort of equivalent to, like, life experience and stuff. When I think about wisdom I think about advice from someone older than you or something along those lines.
What about you g/u/rls? Proper definition aside (considering the textbook definition for something like this is kinda vague anyways).

Wisdom to me is a developed attribute to harmonically relate yourself and your thoughts to the laws of nature, so that these laws can be useful. It is also the ability to harmonically relate yourself to other individuals, so that you can achieve other peoples harmonic and voluntary cooperation.
Empathy, intelligence and experience are all key to developing your wisdom.

Wisdom is knowing shit and knowing when and how to use it.
Just knowing shit would be knowledge. You can be very smart (i.e. have a lot of knowledge) but if you don't know how to use those knowledge, then you don't have wisdom.
For example, if you're knowledgeable in politics, but you decide to post in /new/, then you're not very wise, are you.

Wisdom to me is being able to perceive patterns (in things, people, and their actions) that occur again and again throughout history, calculate how various patterns at the given moment might interact, predict the outcomes they might produce, decide on the best course of action given these possibilities, and then act strategically to achieve your goal.
