How do I tell my best friend that I want to be more than friends without ruining my relationship with her

| I've been having this feeling for weeks now and talking to her in a daily basis doesn't really help me in keeping these feelings in check

| Tell her you want to be more than friends

| Just tell her. If you're actually friends a rejection wouldn't ruin the friendship.

| Yeah... if you communicate clearly i doubt it'd hurt your relationship in the long run unless she says no and you either don't accept that or are hurt into lashing out somehow or taking it personally. If you're mindful and take care of yourself, even if it doesn't work out I'm sure any issues would be temporary. Good luck!

| If she says no, just suck her dick reeeeeally hard.

| Go for it

| >>712980 nah ignore everyone in this thread. If really enjoy her company don't tell her anything. You'll ruin your friendship.

If confessing to a friend would ruin the friendship, then it's a weak friendship. Anyone worth being friends with wouldn't mind.

| >>714088 as of now she thinks that he fantasies about fuckikh her after he confessed she'll have the confirmation and I'm pretty sure that's all she'll be thinking the next time he's talking to her

If that's how she's like she's not worth it. If she trusts him, it wouldn't matter anyways. If she's a real one, she wouldn't care.

For real. I've confessed to close friends before and they didn't mind at all. Personally I would take it as a compliment if someone confessed to me.

People are people homie. That's just how it is. It shouldn't matter. If their friendship is so unstable that something like that would ruin it and it couldn't be talked through, is it worth it?

| One piece of advice I've heard for breaking up is to say when it was that you stopped being in love/wanting to be there, because the idea that the relationship was a 'lie' all along can be hurtful and powerful. Something like that may be good advice for situations like this: make it clear that the feelings have been there for 'weeks now' or however long, and so that the whole friendship wasn't a false front aimed at sex (which seems to be a semi common issue)
