I say I'm an idiot I say I'm going to forget I say leave me alone I say please I'm mad I want to be alone I say I prefer to be left alone when I'm mad
People don't listen, I know is stupid to be lashing out on the internet but people don't listen so I figured it doesn't matter anyway

Nope, nobody does listen. It's hard to see someone else's viewpoint, and even harder to have someone see yours. At the very least, though, you can try to be the person who listens.

Between what you think, what you want to say, what you think you said, what you actually said, what the other heard, what the other thinks they heard, what the other understood, what the other thinks they understood, there's quite some room for misunderstanding.

I know what you mean. I used to be someone who did that, regrettably. But when I did it was always out of love, care, worry and a desire to help.
Though, when someone truly wants to be alone, I've learnt that giving them space is the right thing to do. I usually send a little message to let them know that I love and care for them, that they should reach out when they're feeling better, and that I'll let them be for now. Though I usually keep the message short.

>>711950 Just leave. Tell them you'll be back in a bit, you'll be fine, and just leave.

>>712297 Sometimes leaving isnt an option and honestly it shouldn't be for us to be the ones to leave. That's like the solution to bullying is to avoid it as opposed to directly confront the root of it and end that behaviour.
I appreciate you wanting to give a solution to a percieved problem but this is an issue of communication and boundaries

Depends on how you need to deal with it, not everyone is the same, I myself had a moment where I wanted to be alone, however because of that I shunned my friend and lost one, it also changed my personality. I dont exactly have anythung better to say other than you need to make sure that it is something you need and dont regret your decision afterwards.
