Tw: sorry for putting it out here like this

| I don't want to talk about this with my friends or family so i'm putting it out here. I'm sorry. I know people here tend to dislike posts like this. I just really need to let this out somewhere.

It's the first time i self-harmed in.. years. Mixed feelings about it rn; i'm numb atm. Ofc suicide isn't an option but it's always lingering at the back of my head like an itch. I tightened a belt around my neck to somehow help with the urge to kms but ye anyway that's it sorry for this.

| Sorry to hear... Please don't do belt thing anymore.

| Don't feel too bad about the self-harm. You've managed to stop before. You can do it again. Like the anon above says though, please don't do the belt thing. You said yourself that suicide is not an option, so accidentally killing yourself like that would be, well, just don't do it.

Also, don't apologize for putting this here. While it would be best to talk to someone you love and trust about this, just getting it out there is much better than holding it in. I'm proud of you.

| >>711536 I'm quite ashamed that I did that. I'll try to lay off of it.

| >>711539 Thanks, g/u/rl. I won't be able to kill myself with just doing the belt thing, so don't worry. It's not tied on my staircase like a noose or anything like that. It's just as how I described it- Literally tightening a belt around my neck.
TBH, prolly the closest thing I'll ever get to doing the real thing.

| >>711546
I know what you said, and I still stand by what I said. Even if you're careful and make sure there's no risk that it kills you, that can still do permanent damage over time, or really fuck you up if you get carried away and overdo it. I fully understand why you did it and I've done similar stuff myself. Please don't feel bad about having done it or anything. But please try to retrain from doing it in the future, for your own sake.

| Be careful, get some help, and know that anonymous strangers on the internet care about you, want to see you happy, and would moas you if you were gone.

| >>711495 it's alright. You're probably a kid. In a few year you gonna look back and laugh at how cringey you were

| >>711622
This is the most uneducated and disrespectful shit I've seen in a while...

| >>711638 well you're a retard who never grew out of the suicidal fase

| >>711545
shame is not an option. this is about your life. i'm not saying people don't care, just that they usually don't care as much. just look at faggot >>62cd5c
my point is that the person that should care the most is you since this is all about you and your own personal well-being. you talk like you owe us something and we expect something from you - we don't have expectations, only hopes that you get better.

and i understand the neck thing, i wanted to feel it too just to try

| >>711657
As I said...

| i don't know about your life problems but if you have problems in your life you can fix them... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-1HdbNZDgQ ...
well-being is often just a state of mind, of satisfaction. find what makes you happy... and if that's too hard, try finding what makes you unhappy, and do the opposite of that. i know it's easy to say and a tad convoluted to actually do... and now "New replies detected - reload" popped up, i'm gonna post this to see what the reply is ok

| >>711660
these words only hurt you if you let them do so, hun

| >>711663 that's what I'm saying. Stop being a pussy and just deal with your shit. Everyone has shit to deal with and they don't post it on text boards to get attention

| >>711666
fuck off satan

| >>711663
They're not hurting me. I was just pointing out how lil Satan was further proving my point.

Also, why does lil Satan seem to think that I'm OP? I'm just here to back up the homie.

| >>711670
he's probably just a 4chan retard who thinks he's edgy, we can probably just ignore him.

| >>62cd5c
Back to /new/ with you, narcissist.

| >>711552 that means a lot. Thank you. I'll try to live for myself. Honestly, the worried look my dog gave me is really one of the pivotal reasons why i keep going. Can't imagine the confusion and worry they'll experience if i suddenly leave like that.

>>711619 thanks, man. I sincerely love this board. Funny how all of you feel more like a family to me than people I know IRL.

| >>711622 I'm still pretty young, that's true. Just shit circumstances and all that. I got some sleep and woke up with a bloody headache but I also believe that things will get better in time. Hopefully, I'll be able to look back at this part of my life in a place where I've overcome it.

| >>711677
Regarding the headache, maybe you need to hydrate some more? Even if you're only slightly dehydrated you won't get as rested from sleep as if you're properly hydrated.

Also, pet your dog from me!

| >>711659 Thank you. That's sound advice. I just have trouble with self-worth, I guess. I feel like I trouble everyone I know just by existing, so I feel selfish whenever I want to do something for myself. It can get hard when cynicism is my perspective towards the world. But, i'll try. :)

| >>711679 ah that could be the case. Didn't eat and cried a lot. Also, sorry for being unable to answer your curiosity. The belt thing feels kind of.. this might be odd, but it feels soothing, almost. You can feel it in your head and you can feel the pulsing on your neck (because it's trying to get the blood to circulate) pulse harder. I don't recommend anyone to do this of course, but since you were curious, I just wanted to share my experience.

| >>711681
Hey, I know about the belt thing. I did it once too.

| >>711680
I know that feeling all too well homie. I struggle with it daily and have for years. But I can promise you that those feelings are lying to you though. You're worth a lot, no matter what it feels like. Try to remember that.

>>711681
Staying hydrated, and trying to have at least 3 or 4 small meals during a day is very important. Both help your brain function better, and if you don't eat enough you'll end up with an eating disorder. It doesn't take long to get one.

| >>711545 You don't need to feel ashamed. It's not that you did something wrong, you did something dangerous. It's ok to have ideas that end poorly sometimes, and those are opportunities to learn, not faults. Society tries to motivate everyone by shame but it just doesn't work. We don't say you shouldn't because we think that would be a dumb choice, we say it because we want to help you.

|

| >>711692
>But I can promise you that those feelings are lying to you though. You're worth a lot, no matter what it feels like.

Lmao, as if.

| >>712351
Lmao, I let my insecurities and mental issues control me.

| Do it pussy
