Is it okay to have no dream?

| I feel like I have no major dream/objective for my life. I will just think of something when the time comes for me to decide. Studying and get into high school? sure, get into university? Alright, choose a professional? Okay. I feel like I just wing everything, I just want to enjoy life, I have no dream of being anything big. I just want to play videogames, listen to music, have fun, get a stable job in the future. I always feel like I need to have a dream, but I just can't find it

| P.s. Just got into university, studying nursing.

| You don't need to have one, you just need to be happy with your choices in life.

I'm in a similar boat as you, as well as many other people. I don't really have a dream either nor do I know what I have in line for my future, and that's after finally graduating.

Just pursue things that make you happy, no matter how large or small that goal may be. And remember to take joy in the people and things you love in your life, that's what's most important of all.

| What's wrong with being Zen?

| You gotta pursue something, anything. Otherwise you'll turn into Peter Pan

| It should not matter if you want just to survive and have a normal simple life, even that is quite hard to achieve in most places of the world.

| i feel like it would be a waste to live without dreaming

| same

| As long as you're happy - it's perfectly fine

| I mean, that is your dream, isn't it? If having stable income and enjoying your hobbies in the spare time is what you want, then that's what you want, isn't? There's nothing wrong with that.

| In my opinion, the best big goals for the future are the ones that aren't super difficult to reach.

| >>707317 Thank you, glad to know there are similar people like me, thank you for your advice.
>>707954 I guess in a way that is my dream huh... well this dream just seems kinda insignificant compare to the others. But I know what you mean.

Thank you everyone, love to hear you g/u/rls opinions.

To those who think a dream is important, may I know what's your dream?

Please don't view it as insignificant. The importance of your dream depends on how much it means to you, you know? If you do find something "big" one day that you wanna do then go for it, but honestly I kind of envy you for being content with such a chill lifestyle.
