gathering all art people to ask a question
| ok just to be clear i'm asking for tips to get ideas and inspirations again to get me going and yeet an illustration, just one illustration this year is enough for me
| What i do is look at other people's art tbh. Either a speedpaint or look up pose and anatomy referendes. It makes my hand itch to create something too. You can also take part at the inktober prompt for this year to "stretch" your hands, if that makes sense

| How about getting into some new fandom? That usually does the job for me. I get madly obsessed with some game, movie or book to a point where I can't think of anything apart from it, and this obsession gives me more desire to draw than I can actually handle
| Whenever im low on ideas i usually try to visualise the emotions im feeling and draw that or i just listen to music and eventually ill just naturally come up with a scenario or an idea to draw from doing that

| I guess a bit of a warning, I'm not the best at drawing and this is a bit weird. What I did recently was to just scribble on the page. I draw digitally so I'm not wasting ink or paper. Eventually the lines kinda seem to flow and I try to make a form around it.

| alright so basically 2020 has been a pretty bad art year for me because I haven't been able to create any piece of illustrations for the whole year and it's bothering me.
it's just that I can't come up with any idea for an illustration, at all. So gimme your best shots, art people of /u/
