I mean, I just arrived today, so it's hard to say. I know it's for the best though, and especially because of what I just said it's been easier to focus on the present, and not the extremely uncertain and definitely rough future.
But, yeah! I don't know how long she's going to stay, but if it's for the same duration as me or at least similar, I think establish at least a temporary friendship :)

Heavy depression, anxiety and a fuck ton of stress + autism got me to the point where I had a breakdown and just stopped functioning and could barely move anymore. Lots of suicidal thoughts as well, but I still have a few people who want me alive, so I got myself put in instead of doing anything drastic.

| Well, I don't have a lot of updates, but she tries to involve me in conversation despite not talking much and seems like she enjoys my company to some extent, considering she's asked the staff to invite me to play cards with them, which is nice.

| Institutionalised OP here. I got invited to play cards with a staff member and another patient, and she seems pretty chill, so maybe I'll make a new friend! It's been a while since I've made new friends irl, and one of my biggest problems with being institutionalised is not getting to see any irl friends.
