Your teacher is wrong. They presuppose that you share the exact same values and opinions and that you will agree with them 100%. Given that they said 'the administration' it is likely a political issue, which are informed by but are not moral issues.
Also, words without action are meaningless. Criticizing alone does nothing.
You are also wrong. Doing nothing and agreeing for the sake of politeness is the worst position to take.
Identify evil from good. Then, oppose evil.

| my cultural studies teacher told me, if i don't actively criticize the wrongdoings of the administration and speak out my opinion about it, i'm actually siding with the admin, therefore, bad.
in my defense, i just really don't give a shit. but i didn't say anything and just nodded.
