my cultural studies teacher told me, if i don't actively criticize the wrongdoings of the administration and speak out my opinion about it, i'm actually siding with the admin, therefore, bad.
in my defense, i just really don't give a shit. but i didn't say anything and just nodded.
though i think that's bullshit, i'd like to hear what you would have said.

Well, if you see that someone is getting killed on the streets and you know you have the ability to help but decide not to, you kinda help the murderer to kill his victim, don't you? Inaction can be as harmful as the action itself, if not more.
I don't blame you though, I couldn't care less about similar things back when I was at school and college as well. Nevertheless, your teacher is correct

>>695919 Your teacher is wrong. They presuppose that you share the exact same values and opinions and that you will agree with them 100%. Given that they said 'the administration' it is likely a political issue, which are informed by but are not moral issues. Also, words without action are meaningless. Criticizing alone does nothing. You are also wrong. Doing nothing and agreeing for the sake of politeness is the worst position to take. Identify evil from good. Then, oppose evil.

>>696350 "Indifferentism is the worst kind of disease that can affect people" The fact that you don't care is even worse, and it's certainly not an excuse
