I'm lucky to have a genuine human as a gf.
I was sick though when she was talking about her previous relationships. She almost brought me to tears.
| As a gurl who attracts toxic ppl i think it's bc we try our best to understand them. In my case, i always considered their circumstances in life as reason on why they bacame the way that they were but now i realized that it's not really healthy to tolerate being treated like crap just because smth bad happened in their lives. We're all fighting diff battles (but sometimes it's hard because i feel selfish to think that way)

I have a friend who's like that. Her boyfriend basically doesn't give a fuck about her. Well, he cares, but only when he needs someone. When she needs comfort he doesn't give a shit and uses his mental health as an excuse, even though her mental health is arguably worse. She still goes back to him though, because "he's just going through some stuff and he's had a rough past and has a bad home situation" even though it's the exact same for her.
It's really, really sad.

She has already gotten really messed up from it though. I've comforted her so, so many times because she feels like shit because of him. She finally broke up with him not that long ago, and she's already considering getting back with him if she hasn't already. They have it nice for a little bit, but then he makes her feel like shit, she finally realises he's a cunt, then she almost breaks up or breaks up, and then she forgives him because "he's sad" and then it repeats.
