Do you turn to God to find meaning there? Do you reject him and try to find the meaning somewhere else, be it inside you or outside? Do you just accept that world in essence is meaningless chaos? How do you live with that acceptance?
Sorry if the topic is too vague

No i kind of understand. I get thoughts like that, too. I turn to God when that happens. Trusting His plan and that somehow in the grand scheme of things, it will all work out. Because overall, if i remove God in the picture, i honestly find living life a waste of time (I've tried ending it a couple of times before but i was unsuccessful). Just look at Solomon! He had it all and he tried to find purpose outside of God. He ended up with my favorite verse:

So I hated life, for the work which had been done under the sun was grievous to me; because everything is futility and striving after wind. Ecclesiastes 2:17 NASB
Hope that helps. With the practical side of things, i do my best to focus on the present instead of pressuring myself of the future. We all dont know what's bound to happen, so i guess we can do our best to focus on what we can do.

I accept it but I wouldn't call it chaos.
The only thing that may seem chaotic is human nature and even that can be explained. Most of our generations problems are due to greed.

Also, I don't want to share how I cope with it because it's dark as fuck and the last thing I want is to spread that mindset.

It's a hard question to get on top of, but at least that means there are a lot of traditions of thought which which deal with it. I'd look into various ones if you can, some google searches i did on "different perspectives on meaning in life" and similar turned up various stuff, and you probably already know of some like it seems like christianity

Personally, i take kind of a self-absorbed approach: I don't like to suffer, i like to enjoy myself, and i don't have any reason to believe others are different. So while it seems like there's no 'meaning' to existence itself, i can still do what's best according to what has meaning to people, which is reduce suffering and increase freedom/joy/acceptance/mental health. Even in the worst objective situation, a person can still make things better or worse for themself and others

>>11dfcc I'm so bad at explaining myself but you pretty much nailed it. >which is reduce suffering and increase freedom/joy/acceptance/mental health. Even in the worst objective situation, a person can still make things better or worse for themself and others
I just wanted to hilight this because it's how I try to live my life.

>>690540 I have more thoughts about existence when I'm drunk weirdly enough.
By the way, it's not that important, but when I mentioned God, I meant some abstract diety, becasue I don't trust any existing religion

I accept that the world is meaningless chaos - at least as far as we can see right now - and just roll with it. We have a giant-ass sandbox to play with and no teacher in sight. Good times all around.

I don't. Life is meaningless no matter how you look at it, but I don't find this thought to be disturbing or harmful in any way. What's so bad about it? What's so bad about acknowledging the fact that the sky is blue, or the that the sugar is sweet? It is what it is, no matter how you look at it.
