my thoughts on /new/ currently consist of curiosity towards OP's thoughts on /new/ and confusion as to why she chose not to include them. since I don't normally think much about /new/, and since an opinion about /new/ seems to be a prerequisite to creating or responding to a thread about /new/, there's not much else for me to think.

>>ed08de my opinions on it are neutral, I've just seen a lot of people hate it so I've been wondering if most people actually dislike it or if that minority is just loud.

If /new/ doesn't exist then this place becomes a cesspool of /new/ threads.

I don't think even all of us browsing the site can amount to anything remotely potentially close to (or mistakenly passing off as the approximate ever so close edge of the amount to even start discussing the thought of beginning to have the idea of) "a lot of people", so I don't believe you did indeed meet "a lot of people" who hate /new/. I'm positive /new/ isn't universally hated at all.
I don't hate /new/. And I don't hate /u/ either <3

/new/ is a cesspit and its good that it exists because it keeps said cess contained
