Friends are a blessing

| Don't take them for granted, but don't view it as you being the only one benefitting from a friendship.

Friendships are intricate. Complicated. That's why you should try to keep them honest, and why you should always talk it through with a friend if you're going through something rough or you're having an argument.

Never underestimate how important you are in a friendship, and never underestimate how important your friend is to the friendship. You are both vital for it.

Well, it's kind of just something that happens. If you talk to different people, be it online or irl, sometimes you just really click with someone and you talk more and more with them, and then a friendship forms.

| I don't have any.

| Shit sucks.

| >>688386 Try getting some. Then shit will suck less.

| OP how can u make legit friends in this day and age? I think the last legitimate friend i have was my close friends back in highschool. (Ive graduated UNI and is also working for a few years now) Relationships after that seems to just start drifting apart and crumble easily for some reason. But that could also be a me problem

As I said anon, it requires two people. If both of you actively keep in touch and talk to eachother then the friendship will remain.

If you want new friendships I'd say try to be open minded. You can get along surprisingly well with people you wouldn't expect to become friends with and who share almost none of your interests. You never know who could become a good friend, so give it a shot!

Online friends are also very much friends, despite what some people think.
