Summer night vibes

| the nights here aren't quite hot, but aren't quite cold, so it's a very nice feeling to sleep with just one thin sheet. like that, it's hard to think about anything but how comfortable my bed is

Sadly this year has been sucky for a lot of us. When I feel lonely, I lie on my bed and listen to chill, comfy music. I fully immerse myself in it, forget whatever troubled me and enjoy the moment. Perhaps doing this may help you, if even for a little bit?~
Do remember to go outside occasionally, even for no reason. I don't want you to get sick from staying inside all the time~. The moonlight is especially pretty during this time of year~♡

I could never do that. The intense sunlight tends to hurt my skin~... I'd rather run during the night when the temperture is comfortable... And the moon is out~! Although the darkness might be troublesome...

| My cat fucked up her sleep schedule lately so at night I usually think about how do I stop her from running around and fighting my legs.

it's nice during the cooler hours. right now, though, I'm hiding in the basement. the concrete and plumbing helps it stay cool, but it's still warm in here today. even if I hauled my desktop down here, it might overheat if I ran it.

Today, the heatwaves have been replaced with nice and cool rain~♡! I still nap, though. Hoping for a memorable summer night...~♡
| Can't sleep indeed. Feeling lonely. Was trying my luck in finding someone interesting to talk to for the past few weeks. Unfortunately, didn't happen. Now I'm lying in bed, can't sleep. Only distant car sounds and chirping of grasshoppers (?) Can be heard. Probably shouldn't have taken that nap earlier in the day. Comfy thread, lovely op.

| Woops, accidentally hit submit.
Night/early morning is the only time you can really do anything outside without melting (evening has too many damn mosquitos) but I like cracking my window open and listening to the bugs, the fan, sometimes the rain if I'm lucky. It's the only way I can go to sleep when it's this hot. Something about that time of night combined with this time of year feels unreal, like summer's equivalent to waking up to see everything covered in snow.

I've never had trouble with loneliness, even if I went weeks without social contact. Maybe it's because I grew up quite sheltered~?
