When I was like 6 I stole candy from a store, and was caught by a woman who wasn't an employee. Got in trouble with stepdad. I was a dumb kid.

At the age of 13-14 me and a couple of friends used to visit this store after woodwork class and the employees there used to be massive pricks and follow us around and telling people that we were shoplifters and bad kids. Dunno why because had never stolen anything at that point.
So in a juvenile way to get back at them and/or take advantage of the situation we started stealing candy and sodas. Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy.

>>681376 We did this every tuesday for a semester. I had small and growing mountain of candy at home and every week I would give a special bag of stolen salty liqorice to the girl I liked.

back when i was 11. i was heading back home from a classmate's house, but it was already around 2am. i knew my family had already locked the house so it was pointless to go home. basically i went in a convenience store, walked around a little, and then just hoarded the chocolates. when the clerk saw my sweater FULL of candies they chased me, but i was faster. headed home but had to walk all the way since no jeepneys already. my parents opened the house when it was already bright

I stole a lot as a little kid, but my parents were actually paying, but I didnt know that.
I gained a rep with the store and when I found out I was super ashamed of myselg thinking I was a slick little shoplifter.

>>9aded7 Did your parents pay constant attention to you in the store and quietly paid for every item you hid without the cashier scanning it? Or how did it all go down?

>>682881 oof Im>>9aded7,
I live in a 3rd world country, so receipts are done by hand in that store since it's not based in the city.
And I was a kid, so I don't remember a whole lot. But my parents always brought me along shopping, and told me bits of how I'd make noise trying to take things.
