Going to the dentist tomorrow, wish me luck

| Or don't, I dunno if I deserve it, I've brought this upon myself. Gonna have at least 2 teeth drilled and filled. Might need one of those teeth removed instead, probably depending on what the imaging shows. And in all honesty, I am scared shitless.

| Dont be such a pussy. Yeah its painful but thats it. I had a shitton of teeth removed at ages 8-12 and i went through with it.

| >>680256 wow, aren't you tough?

| >>680266 yes.

I had a fuckton, pussy.

My dude, you do realize that teeth at ages 8-12 are still pretty much a demo version of real teeth? I got most of those removed as well, only 1-2 fell out on their own or with minor prodding. Dealing with proper teeth is a much bigger PITA, especially root canal.

| while the anesthetic is in effect you will be just fine, maybe slightly uncomfortable but nothing too bad. Ask the dentist for some pain reliever afterwards. You don't have to worry too much about the drill and the whole process since it's a either nothing bad happen or you're straight up dead kind of situation. Good luck!

Either the anesthetic they use here is pretty weak, or my pain tolerance is very low, but drilling is still a torture. Better than the time I had to do four teeth in one sitting without any anesthetic at all, but still sucks.

| Four teeth without anesthetic... damn you are one tough gurl.

To be fair though, the cavities in those weren't too deep, so it didn't hurt as much and was over rather quickly.

Okay, so, I did go to the dentist today, but get this - both of the teeth I suspected are completely fine, the old fillings still hold well and there are no new cavities. But I still feel dull pain in the area from time to time, but that's weird. Made an appointment in two weeks to check my gums and maybe clean the teeth professionally while I'm at it.

| Maybe bacterial infection that's not visible on the outside ?

Probably, although bacterial infection would usually suggest at least some fever. But even at the potential infection site the body temp is absolutely normal. I suppose that is still the most likely suspect at this point, though.
I've scheduled an appointment with a periodontist in two weeks, maybe that'll shed some light on the situation.

| I still remember that time how the dentist just straight up yanked away my two wisdom teeth without anesthetic. I will never forget that feeling when my mouth's filled to the brim with saliva and blood.
