Unfortunately, there is no easy way. You just practice a lot. The more you practice, the better you get.

Supplement practice with rapid consumption. It's easier to learn a language if it's everywhere around you. System language, YouTube, hentai doujins - you name it. Although I don't know what "malay" is, so I'm not sure if there is a lot of content.

Read comics. Watch TV shows. Read books maybe?? Also hi, I know Indonesian. Would you like to completely destroy your Malay by mixing it up with the neighbor's language?

>>679308 I honestly have no qualms against the indonesian language i view it the same as the multiple Chinese dialects(eg hokkien, teochew, etc) though i wish Indonesia itself would be a more respectable country as opposed to the(I am terribly sorry if this offends you) cesspool it is today

>>679311 Oh no I'm not making judgment calls. It's just that Indonesian and Malay are interintelligible but also very different, more than just the dialect I think, which is a big trap when learning.

Yeah it's not just the pronunciation but also whole words or even different that have totally different meanings
