Hey g/u/rls,how do you get better at a certain language
| Unfortunately, there is no easy way. You just practice a lot. The more you practice, the better you get.
| Supplement practice with rapid consumption.
It's easier to learn a language if it's everywhere around you.
System language, YouTube, hentai doujins - you name it.
Although I don't know what "malay" is, so I'm not sure if there is a lot of content.
| Read comics. Watch TV shows. Read books maybe?? Also hi, I know Indonesian. Would you like to completely destroy your Malay by mixing it up with the neighbor's language?

Oh no I'm not making judgment calls. It's just that Indonesian and Malay are interintelligible but also very different, more than just the dialect I think, which is a big trap when learning.
