Anyone else hate when you ask someone a question online and they just bring up Google? It's like when I ask someone about a game and instead of giving me their opinion or putting it into their own words, they just give me a link. Like, bitch, if I wouldn't have asked you if that's all I wanted.

Got this one friend that always does that. Guess I should ask what they think about blank instead of what's blank about

Yea I hate it too. I bet they feel so smart for doing it. Like "just google it LMAO what a dumb bitch". Anyway next time they do it to you just say thanks and go on with your day g/u/rl. More power to ya.

I'm a reap what you sow kinda guy. I got a friend who's exactly like that, telling me to google it haha
So one time, he asks me, and i just tell him exactly that. Bastard didnt handle it as cool as his haha google it line was.
We're still friends, we talk frequently. Just had to get him over that hurdle of trying to look cool

Well kinda depends on what you're asking I got a girl in my class who bugs me about definitions of words etc.. Seems strange that you would refer someone to an external site for your opinion on something.

True like i know we can google everything now but tbh it's nice to just ask the opinion or version of a thought from someone like you're just having an irl conversation. I dunno why people had to be rude like that

Its really anoyng depending on the question, if its something hard to google then I think its fine since there is a lot of people with alot of knologe that can give the info way faster and more effiently than any quick google search, but for easy things its just annoying, then there is also those fuckers that want you to google stuff for then because they want proof when they the proof is a pain in the ass to get

But the worst by far is that guy who just gives a single worded response when you ask people for their opinions, like tell me what you like and why, then they answer " I like iron" then they never give the reason, its such a joy kill, my curiosity sense tingles in rage

>>672728 Haha yeah. I don't get people who answer like this. What even is the point?
It's even worse when you're having a debate and people who have strong opinions can only explain it with "I like iron" and then expect you to fill in the blanks.

>>672806 the lack of reasons is what irritates, how do you have an opinion if you dont have a reason? Its infuriating

People ask me about things a lot. Like, a lot. What something is, definitions of words, everything like that, and they seem to expect me to know and answer all of it. A majority of the time I actually do know, but, sometimes I just ask them to Google it or send them the definition straight from Google, because, like, I really don't have the energy to be people's search engine. It's sort of flattering that they think I know everything, but also, like, please.

Well, it just means they don't want to go through the painful stimulation of structuring their knowledge to pass it on to someone else. You know, like, a normal social interaction. Or maybe they suck at this. Or they actually have no idea and don't want you to notice that. Or they don't give a fuck and want you to fuck off. Or idk...
