Today I interviewed a decrepit art dealer living in a decrepit mansion. His deceased brother was buying it from a Hollywood actor when he croaked. Mortgage went to the client, who neglected the property tax for 20 years. No real assets, only household income food stamps.
Now the actor, represented by a notorious debt collection firm, forecloses on the property. The same firm that gave me a job offer when I graduated.
Isn't fate funny? We might have met anyway.
