Trying to fall asleep at night is like hell to me. I always end up being on my phone to distract me from my thoughts. Yes, ive tried melatonin, exercising more at daytime, having a healthy diet, meditating- you name it. God i hate living and being alive. Ive never been able to live up to societys standards.

I'm the same. Nicotine helps, but, I don't recommend it, and it still takes a while to actually fall asleep. Sounds like you could benefit from a therapist.
When it comes to "living up to societies standards", you don't have to live up to shit. Honestly. The people who are overly judgemental and can't accept people having struggles and being different, well, they're worthless in my eyes. Their opinions don't matter, because they live in a bubble.

I agree with >>dee945 wholeheartedly here. What others think of you should be no measure of your success. Living up to standards is a surefire way to get nowhere, so you shouldn't be disappointed in your lack of being able to do that. Be your own person and measure yourself only by the standard of what's important to you and your own goals.
Also try having some audio or video at night. Some YouTube or a podcast just to give you something to focus on while you drift to sleep.

>>663765 Yeah. Big agree on that last bit there. I usually do that, and sometimes it can help a lot.
