And the popcorn to end all popcorns is Chicago mix. Disagree with me? Let's hear your case out g/u/rl.
(This is definetly not a ploy to find other great flavors with minimal effort)

I don't like popcorn at all. It tastes like styrofoam. Yes, I've tried styrofoam. Don't ask.

Popcorn has... multiple flavors? And the flavors have names? All my life I've only ever had popcorn with either salt or caramel.

Caramel popcorn from the carnival is nice.

>>662868 Here in Eastern Europe we have quite a few flavours as well. Granted, cheese is the only valid one, but that's beside the point.

>>662967 Excuse me you eat your popcorn with cheese??

>>662840>>662930 If you like caramel Chicago has basically half that and half cheddar. Took me a while to get used to the bizarre combo but with time it slowly won me over from just plain caramel to this heavenly duo.

>>662967 A popular one here in Canada is White Cheddar, which is kinda powdery. What kind of cheese do you guys toss onto your popcorn?

Damn. Now I wish I could get different types of popcorn here.

>>662970>>662974 Yeah, no, it's just powdered artificial flavouring that tastes remotely similar to cheese with buttloads of salt.

Why tf you pop corn? Just scrape them off after you boil them in water add some sugar and eat them with spoon.

>>662979 Which 4? I'm interested :')
I'm very uninitiated as well, other than Chicago mix I only know like 3 other flavors (buttered/salt, caramel, cheese)

As a side note, movie theatre popcorn is also on a whole other level and I don't know how they do it

>>663451 It's just cooked in a small kettle with oil. You can do it yourself at home really easily, it's just messy. -t. Ran concessions at a movie theater for years.

Would you g/u/rls believe if I said there was chocolate popcorn? And that it tasted pretty good?

>>663646 No. No, I wouldn't.

>>663646 Well, there exists a fair amount of salty, crispy snacks that are chocolate covered, and some of them are pretty good. So if it's chocolate covered it probably good be good. Just powder could work too. It actually sounds better the more I think about it. Damn.

>>663633 what does t. stand for?
Once I had cinnamon caramel popcorn, which is surprisingly good. It is not at all the same as most cinnamon popcorn, which is made with nasty cinnamon candy.

The og just salt flavor, nothing beats plain salty popcorn, only losers who dont appreciate popcorn eat the other flavors, as they arent refined enough to taste the origins of, heck it tastes good even without salt in it
Post number #663840, ID: c2fb77
|
>>663700 I've always felt like the quality of salted popcorn is entirely dependent on how soft the popcorn itself is

>>663633 Noted, I'll have to try it out sometime! Thanks g/u/rl <3
