| Today, I answered a call from an angry applicant wanting to know where her lawyer was.
You see, the secretary handling initial applicant callbacks told her that she would be "getting a call back from her representation".
But as I told her, her legal issue is not the kind we handle. The secretary (15-year tenure) should have thought of that before promising.
She raged at me and I apologized to her, empathizing with her anger. She calmed down and I directed her elsewhere.
