I broke down during a meeting due to extreme pressure at work. It's so bad for my mental health. I've never felt such toxicity in a workplace at all.

update! I've actually managed to complete an important part of one of the tasks, so the day wasn't wasted in vain! I've also found a way to play a guitar song which I wasn't able to do previously! This happened only about a few hours ago, so the day appeared to be actually nice in the end!
sorry for writing about good things in a thread about bad things, but ok

I read academic papers. Not bad in itself, just that one of them turned out to present a solution that can't be implemented in my case... but still very interesting. I mean, boring to read it, but the academic value almost made it exciting.

>>661782>>661844 How about changing this thread to "1 bad thing that happened to you today and 1 good thing that even it out or fixed it"? Both venting and healthy mindset in one.

I had some pretty bad anxiety today. I had a chance to hangout with my best friend for a while but missed out on it because of shit I had to do, and it kind of pushed the day into a spiral of exhaustion and anxiety. I got the chance to partly help out a really close friend of mine though, who's dealing with some rough things (her friend is very suicidal) and I took the chance, hopefully making her dark day a little bit brighter and getting my mind focused on something else.

Someone keyed the car i just bought yesterday... Not a big deal compared to my previous car being totaled from a lady who ran red light.

I've spend another day meandering about what university to go to next year. I have 2 days to let them know. I think I have an idea but I'm sure I'll regret either decision. Fuck it's tough lol

>>662805 what options do you have? Also in most cases you can't know exactly what you want to do in life at like 17 or 18 years, you have to make the leap of faith either way.

>>662824 I'm from Canada. My two options are University of Toronto and McGill. I'm leaning towards McGill for its better international recognition and cuz my gut tells me I won't despise the 4 years.
UofT would be financially better considering I live close to it and could commute for a few hours every day, but that in it of itself sounds like torture...

>>663030 Yeah, would've been 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Public transport is a bitch and the traffic isn't any better.
Thankfully I've finally decided towards the more expensive school, where I'll hopefully live closer to campus. Took some convincing but I'm overall glad I'm not subjecting myself to torture lol
