Hello! I wanna start drawing...

| I doodle and stuff, I wanna try drawing for real now though. If you have cool references or tutorials, please share them!

| I'm no artist but I have dabbled in the past, and I know that before you're going all in you should cover the basics.
Practice drawing curves and lines, just basic shapes. Practice shading and pressure in very basic situations.

| As you've already doodled you're probably good for a lot of that, but just make sure you're confident making all the basic shapes and shades etc before leaping into drawing full images from reference, otherwise you run the risk of failing to do it straight off the bat and losing motivation.

Hopefully this was at least a little helpful to you.

| I recommend drawing from photos (photo study) and learn about colors and values. I don't have specific tutorial but you can look up "color theory" or "values in painting" or something similar. Of course there are a ton of other topics to learn but most drawing technique come from the desire to imitate reality so I'd recommend doing photo study exercises and then look up things that you're weak on that you found along the way.

| Learning perspective hand human anatomy is always fun.
