While it's positive for earth this is not the way we wanted it to go. People are dying and suffering. There are more permanent solutions to saving our environment than periods of self-isolation.
Also our economy is tanking which makes this a counterproductive practice since companies and governments tend to put climate change in the backseat and focus on bringing the economy back on track.
Hopefully this will prove that we can improve the environment though.

The thing is the government or the megacorporations won't fall because of this. It's us little people that has to take the biggest hit. If anything several governments and megacorps are more powerful today because of all the new draconian laws they put in practice.

It makes perfect sense.
What this crisis proves is that the environment can bounce back very fast if we just give it a chance. Hopefully this will turn many skeptical people since a lot of them seemed to believe it was a semi-lost cause.

That sucks. We don't have quarantine where I live. It's all up to our personal responsibility and so far it seems to work. Our government also acknowledged that if we would force a quarantine more people would die to suicide and domestic violence than the virus itself. So it seems to have been the right choice.
I also want to work but I was unemployed before all this hit anyway lol.
