Only one friend

I can't tell you what to do but if it was me I would explain my feelings in earnest to that friend.
Don't be mean or anything of course. Just let them know they mean a lot and don't want to drift apart.

Whenever he's had problems, he'd always talk to me about them to get my advice and such but now that he's doing better, he's stopped talking or hanging out with me. I guess this was just something that was gonna happen sooner or later.

Even if that is the case you can't blame yourself. And this may just be a phase. I guarentee your friend doesn't want to leave you.

| I'm not one to really show emotion irl and I think i'm as bland as a piece of toast so it's probably natural that i'd end up with little to no friends. I know a part of me hurts even typing this but I don't really care anymore. I've been better off doing things by myself anyways.

You can't just say those things about yourself. Everyone is deserving of affection. And it shouldn't be a stance if choose one and lose another. He should be able to give you time just as much as them.

Things don't work out, I don't have the charisma to do much about it or to try to find new friends,so i'll let it be. It's just a small thing in life i'll have to get over.
| Yeah there are bigger issues but that doesn't mean yours don't matter. Maybe you will have to let it he if he doesn't let you back in his life but you will also find new people who will care for you. I knownits not ideal but it's true. I hope things go well for you.
| I have a friend I rarely talk to nowadays because he always chooses MMOs and Discord over being with his irl friends. It's really sad, but that doesn't mean I don't consider him a friend and never talk to him. Luckily I have other friends, but it still sucks. I hope you find more friends OP, and I hope you and your friend figure out a good way too maintain your relationship despite his flaws.
| Any friends I do make are always temporary. I'm not good at keeping friends, i'm surprised he was my friend for so long. But now it's pretty much over. I don't have to worry about having friends anymore. I can just focus more on work and my hobbies.
| MMO's steal people away like that all the time. It's easy to fall down that rabbit hole and you don't notice because they are designed like Skinner boxes. Keep trying to reach out to your friend, but you'll probably lose him for a few years.

| and we're slowly growing apart. He's been mainly playing FF 14 Online and hanging out with people on discord while i'm focusing on work while playing games and falling into the Vtuber abyss in my spare time. I've tried talking to him and such but he'd be too busy playing FF to really talk at all. I don't think I really want an answer to my problem. I guess I just want to get it off my shoulders in some way since I don't really have anyone to talk to now.
