Ay, you should just go for it. They really aren't hard to approach and usually pretty straight forward. Even if it's something simple like hitting them up on messenger or some shit. If they're not taken you could probably take them pretty easily.

He doesn't look or act smart but he's an almost straight A student. People go to him before exams because he sometimes can explain things better than the teacher.
One missed mark for him is that he can't cook at all. Very clumsy around the stove. Too bad we lost contact after graduation.
