How many of you g/u/rls feel disassociated 24/7?

| I been feeling like this for years and i am almost completely disconnected from reality, i feel like im far away from everyone

| Before i got a job recently i didnt have a phone or internet for about a year and a half and rarely saw friends so my social life is pretty much dead

| Not looking for advice or help just wanted to kinda voice my thoughts since i dont talk to anyone about things like this

| i feel pretty alienated but i dont think thats the same as the dissociation youre talking about

| I've honestly felt like that for the past 6 years. I haven't had a social life at all. I don't even have anything to do with family anymore. I can't even relate with another human being at this point in life. I really don't want to die though but dammit I can't take living like this any longer.

| in that case, yes me too.

| ... Are you gurls okay?

| >>5ed5ed Yeah im finding trouble relating to other people too, also been losing interest in everything lately

| I do it a lot, but it's in periods. Sometimes it's really strong and sometimes it's weaker. It's extremely rar for me to only feel it a little, which I'm lucky enough for today. I'm assuming it's because of my mental illnesses combined with little sleep, and today being an exception is probably because yesterday was an absolutely amazing day and I slept for 12 hours.

Not really, no. Disassociation fucking sucks, and from the sound of it OP has depression.

| i sometimes sit there in my room and wait for hours for something. i don't know what that is.

| Disassociative episodes are the most distressing thing I have ever experienced. I didn't even know they had a name, it just feels like all of a sudden the world turns into Silent Hill levels of inhospitable, unreal and scary and you have to escape the situation at all costs. Lost me a job and all chances at social life.

| I'd advise anyone experiencing this to talk to a professional.

I do, and I advise the same.
