what the hell, it's not like every (indie) game dev out there didn't pirate their game maker softwares, but it's really best to stay in the freeside.
What are the best FREE, not freemium, game maker softwares out there?

i really do not think many indie devs pirate their game making software. the few that do probably begin development under pirated software but purchase a license by the time the shit goes up for sale. i believe THAT happens.

can you actually sell a game made on pirated soft?
You can try, but you won't get very far. That's why: >>621265
Plus, if you do get caught trying to sell a game made with a pirated program, you could risk losing the rights to your own work, at which point, bye bye both sales and the hours spent making the game in the first place.
