Maybe playing detective isn't good

| After the Mastodon thread, I decided to check the dude's profile (one who bragged about receiving loli porn in exchange for discord role)
>suspects him of having a pedo ring in discord
>peeks a bit too much on his profile
>he links one of his social media
>name rings a bell
>googles it
>dude is the creator of a really well known waifu website
>checks his discord
>search
>from:owner#0001 loli porn
>over 200 results
>dude hosts loli porn in finland

| >all the users supports his actions
>nobody calling them out for being too obsessed with lolis
>uses "freedom of speech" as a way of saying "loli is allowed"
>some people say they like actual child porn
>even confessions
>people actually looking for loli porn in bot channel

I'll be damned, i gotta say i'm the asshole for creeping up on the dude, but wasn't expecting the dude to be someone with a good reputation and to be doing this kind of stuff.

out of all people though, damn.

| So, tell us why playing detective was good for you in the first place. ???

| >>606441 because there were mentions of child porn in his profile so i thought that it was past the "its just a fucking drawing dave" line and that was what brought me to track everything on his profile.

thought i was going to find some kind of pedo ring i could expose and i was half right, it's a lolicon haven full of people doing unethical but legal shit (there are still some pedos in there) along with the owner, who was well known because of his skills, it really shocked me.

| I don't really see the problem here though. Sure, if he was dealing CP or some shit then you should report him. I'm glad you did what you did, but there's not really something to complain about now, is there? I mean, sure, loli makes some people uncomfortable, I get that, but talking shit about people for liking loli I'd kinda BM. Well, you're not naming names, so I guess I'm complaining about nothing as well.

| >>606449
Make the proper authorities aware and they'll send the appropriate glowinthedark to deal with it.

| what were they doing that was unethical? i dont understand what the problem is and your posts have me kind of confused

| >>606593
To begin with, loli is (rightly so) forbidden in many countries
Second, most people see a problem with sexual drawings of children
Loli por is considered by some to be a gateway to normal cp

| >>606593
some people say they like actual child porn

| >>606607 i forgot the> fuck

| >>606606
it is always wrong to banish or censor lines drawn on paper, and imprison people who look at such lines

there are ethical implications surrounding child porn. but loli is not child porn. as far as being a "gateway drug", i challenge you to find me any scientific data collected on loli, whether it backs your claim up or not. ive seen no research or data on loli and the people who view it at all.

if such research exists i am very interested in it. thank you in advance.

| >>606661
It's got little to no research behind it because of the sensitive nature of the subject.

| >>606664
I doubt it

| >>606664
obscure nature*
before any restriction to a human right like speech or expression can be imposed to curb some supposed harm, it is absolutely necessary to do this kind of research first.

its reasonable to raise fears that something can lead to harm, but until we study and produce evidence that such a harm exists, there is no way a restriction on human rights can be justifiable.

we mustnt go around banning things everytime someone is made uncomfortable or afraid.

| >>606661
I mean, I'm attracted to 12 year olds and I've never watched or attempted to find CP. Loli, yes, but never CP. They are extremely different things. While the audiences are similar (there are loli lovers who aren't actually fucked up like me, so loli's got a larger one they're appealing to) even people like me watch loli instead, because the harming of kids for sexual pleasure is absolutely disgusting. It's horrific. Loli is just drawings that let me get out frustration.

| >>606671
i know that several loli/shota artists were sexually abused as children. and some of those who were abused also enjoy looking at that art. for some, this type of erotic art is helpful to deal with their trauma. this is a very overlooked aspect.

| >>606672 so do deal with memories of their abuse they draw... the very thing that they were scarred by? The human psyche is an enigma

| >>606715
It certainly is, but it is true.

| >>606715 it helps them make sense of it in a way

| >>606767 in a "pp goes into vagina, and it looks like this" kinda way, or what?

| >>606715
It allows them to face and recognize their abuse without directly reliving the memories of the abuse, for one.
And if their psyche has been damaged and twisted to the point where they find it arousing, drawing it prevents the cycle of abuse from continuing.
