Focus on why you're hesitating. Now ask yourself if it's not just an excuse.
If it genuinely tips the balance meaningfully, you're looking at somewhat of a problem.
If your reason is "consequences", that's not hesitation. That's fear. Hesitation doesn't always come from fear.
If it's about fear of change, it's understandable. However, things will change, even if you don't want them to.
