It's a really comfy place, I started to like text boards after usually this. Please anon don't be mad at this place for what it is, instead make it even more alive.

I have just returned, after some time. Is spam dead? I see captchka

>>599160 Dang how long have you been away?
I like this place. I can pop in every now and then and sometimes there's an interesting thread running. Kind of remind me of the old days before internet became mainstream

>>599146 It's almost as active than it was back then, but yes, it's still comfy though some g/u/rls got lazy at posting because of captcha

I like how cozy it is here. I've received a lot of good advice from the people on this app, and even the trolly shit is funny to me.

It's the best for phoneposting and the mods are chill

It's a good question. The board is based on a game so it's got that going for it, but the conversation here isn't nearly as interesting as it is there.

>>599199 Mainly because this is an anon board and not Jill we're talking to. No way in hell are we gonna divulge too much personal information about our lives.

>>599197 What kind of phone do you have? Also, why do you prefer your phone over a comfy desktop?

Bro, this is the chillest place.

It used to be comfy but not anymore. Whenever I try to start a thread people just respond with awkward posts about their penises and wish for sex. It's super lame and never foster discussion. I've been thinking of uninstalling and leaving those kind of people be.

>>599327 Making a thread here is like a lottery. Sometimes you get good replies and sometimes it's all jokes.
Longer, earnest, more serious-sounding threads tend to signal that you don't want joke answers, though. Depends on how you present it

It's a good place, can do without the edgy middle schoolers all complaining about how they want to commit suicide every other day for attention

>>599369 That's not the experience I've had with making threads. I only make serious long ones but people just respond with inane bs anyway. Just check the pentesting thread on tech if you want the latest example.
It doesn't seem like making threads about subjects is possible anymore. The only threads getting replies are threads where people can talk about themselves or make low-effort jokes.

>>599413 the unwriten rules is to not take it seriously and not expect your thread to be good.
It is natural that you'll get a few meme/shitpost replies, it is an anon board afterall, plus it id filled with teen~young adult. Just hope that no one is taking the bait/feeding them and derail your thread.
Go take a look at the yukkuri thread on /u/. OP asked a simple question, replied with some trolls, the troll got ignored, and she got some serious answers in the thread.

>>599424 Ooh yeah, the yukkuri thread was surprisingly good.
/tech/ is terrible most of the time, but there was a time that I showed off what I made there and it was received well. The stars aligned in odd times.

I think it's comfy here too I wonder what other imageboards would be like to me, if I were born a bit earlier

A maid pointed out to me that people using danger/u/ as their first anon board is like their childhood anon experience, similar to how ours began in Chanology-era 4chan (circa 2006). It's interesting to think about.

>>599279 I have an old beat up Asus Phoneposting is better because my computer chair broke and I'm delaying on getting a new one, also because I have to go to work most weekdays(some days I can stay remote, which is pretty chill)

>>599146 It varies in quality from month to month, and the discord is too big, too fast and too crazy. The influx of reddit postings wasn't fun. I expect we'll see another influx when the next game drops. Still, its a nice place here.

I guess the board is alive because how comfy it is. Tbh the only board I feel like posting on.
>>599278 Yeah, I guess it would be nice to discuss things with Jill over a Fringe Weaver. Or a big Bad Touch ;)

>>599897 yeah becomes really discouraging when everything happens so fast in a chat and then only the most active become an actuall community and everyone else remains a half-forgotten spectator, even if you manage to read all the logs >>leer its shrug
