Well it was slightly awkward but smooth none-the-less, there was definitely no resentment and whenever an awkward silence came I just picked a topic to talk about.
But over anything, It was fun.

Straight up attacking the friend with hugs and chatter as if you're the most talkative extrovert ever usually does the trick ^.^
It's also useful to keep in mind that not wanting to constantly talk without halting is OK :)
