| IQ is a meme

| r ub awear that oq chanves iber tome ?

What does that have to do with anything? A change in iq depends either on the stage of life youre in, or small decisions regarding diet, exercise or media enjoyed for example.

The former should be irrelevant given that we are talking here about the people of the most intelligent age group, not of those whose brains age has deteriorated, nor of those whose brains age has yet to fully form.

And regarding the latter, well, first of all making those shitty

decisions is a thing for people of low iq while making smarter decisions, boosting iq, is usually for the intelligent (although they are highly overrepresented in statistics of alcohol and cannabis consumption eheh...shit). Because of this it should be rare for the stupidest of people to get profoundly more intelligent and vice versa. Atleast thats what i believe. Secondly, changes in intelligence tend to happen extremely slowly.

Genetics end up playing a way bigger role in determining intelligence than the enviroment. How one chooses and manages to act out in the world is determined by their brain capacity, not vice versa.

| Im gointg to sleep now

| >>593752 I guess the reason average iq scores have gone up by 30 since it was introduced is superfast evolution caused by the fact that only high iq people reproduce?

Thanks for summing up my thoughts about that post.

Basically keep on using your brains, and you'll do yourself good. Don't become a vegetable.

| I'm just confused.. Are you going around and asking people what their IQ is before deciding whether or not to date them?

| >>593826
no, i play a game of chess with them

| >>593903 what if they're intelligent but terrible at chess? Or dumb but very good at chess?
That thing about being good at chess meaning you're smart is just a myth

| >>593906
i never said i was good at chess, i never said it was a way to judge their ability.

i can however be assertive that i've met people who could destroy me at chess (or other games) if they spent just a few more seconds thinking, but never did that because the game would have been most uninteresting.
interesting games can not all be the most perfect, be it chess or something else.
