finished the main page on my website, tell me what you think

finished the main page, the only secondary page that has any functionality is the guestbook

started this project a few weeks ago with almost no prior html experience, and it shows lol but I'm proud of it so far

| Pretty cool bro where did you learn to do it? If you started almost no knowledge and made such a cool site that means you have talent. Was there any guide you followed or any particular resource used?

| >>593333 quads checked

youtube tutorial after youtube tutorial after youtube tutorial

the thing I put the most research into were how to use divboxes and everything css. if you check the source of my site I commented some tutorials, like for the javascript pages. I literally have no idea how to use Javascript still but, I mean, as long as it works lol

also check out w3schools, it's my new bible lol

| >>593333 the only thing I *do* have experience with is graphic design, and even then it's all photoshop cuz I'm a broke gurl with no illustrator lol

| Wow neocities still exists? Man that's old school.

Pretty cool, op. Got a 90s internet feel to it. A part of me is bothered that it's not mobile-friendly even though it can easiky be, but screw that tbh. It's cool.

>>593339 oh hey, I'm actually working on a guide of basic javascript for new web devs, if you're interested?

| Dat is cool
But in my personal opinion (you MUST NOT listen it) you need more black color
Also google trackers...

| >>593377 you young people and your new fangled "smart" cellulars

I do plan on making a mobile friendly site, however that's way later in the agenda lol. And, yes, I would greatly appreciate some layman Javascript tutorials!

>>593438 I'm sorry but I view my world in glorious TECHNICOLOR. Also thanks for reminding me to remove myself from search engines lol:

Well hey, I managed to finish the guide. Maybe take a look:
https://nononsensebasicjs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

I tried to keep it simple, but honestly I'm not sure if it's layman enough. I'd love your opinion on it.

>Maybe you're tired of just copy-pasting those codes without knowing what the heck any of it does.

lolol that's exactly me. Thanks so much I'll give it a read when I get home this afternoon. Happy Labor Day!
