People don't know how to enjoy life anymore

| Everything is a problem and everyday a new crisis.

Never happy to be alive, always trying too hard to show how they "care" about the world, always trying to prove something and always complaining about something.

That's no way to live, that's stressful and only blows things out of proportion.

Everyone needs to chill and do that "carpe diem" stuff whenever they can, because you never know when a real crisis will actually strike and you won't be able to enjoy life anymore.

| I couldn't agree more. Have fun while you still can and don't spend time worrying about things you can't really influence, it'll only make you miserable in the long term.

| I do that, but I get fucked over none the less. I agree that that's the way people should live though.

| The way I treat my life means that i should disagree with you OP, but I cannot deny that you are right- we do worry about a lot of stupid shit.

| It's not bad to try to make your life better, though. I think that most of the people you're talking about just enjoy being angry. Maybe for them it is seizing the day to be angry? Personally, I'd prefer to be calm, but to each their own.

I disagree. Being angry at people for now real reason other than to have something to be angry about is usual something do either because they're fucking dumb and something that shouldn't make them upset makes them genuinely upset, or as a way to relieve stress. None of those make you happy. They either make you angry or slightly less stressed, but not happy.

| Maybe it's you that can't enjoy life, and you've tunnelvisionned on that so hard that you can't see people enjoying themselves.

| >>584841 oh I can enjoy life alright.

I just wish I could enjoy it together with more people, instead everyone is always angry and distressed and every conversation gets hijacked by whatever issue that makes them mad...

But sometimes I see people around me all happy and enjoying life, when they're all drunk, so drunk that in the next day they don't remember the night before...

| Feels like we get this thread like once a month

| People don't know how to do anything and OP knows everything

| >>584838 does enjoying something have to make you happy? When I feel sad and shitty, I usually don't think 'God, I wish I was happy' or anything. I mostly just want to keep being sad for a while. If I want to keep being sad am I not enjoying it, even if I'm not happy because of it? I bet that most of the chronically angry people on the internet are like that.

| >>584942
How can you enjoy things that make you feel bad? Enjoyment is having a good time. You one of those "M" persons or something?

| >>585034 I don't think enjoyment is necessarily having a good time. Just because something doesn't make me happy doesn't mean I can't like it. Have you ever watched a sad anime but still liked it?

| >>585153 good point. enjoyment simply means being distracted enough from bad things, but then again sad anime still makes me happy (to know that such good anime exist) so i don't think you're quite there. empathizing with sad things =/= being sad

| Happiness by nature is transient, and the way I look at it, everything will work out for better or worse, in time.

| >>585156 When you are sad, do you think that you want to be happy as soon as possible? When I am sad, I just want to keep being sad. I'm not happy because/when I'm sad, but that doesn't mean I think that being sad is a bad thing all the time. That's what I mean by enjoying being sad. I think that people who are always angry feel the same way about anger.
>graph dying grass

| WILL YOU ALL STOP BEING SAD ALREADY ?

>angry burg (┛`д´)┛

It's not called "enjoying being sad". It's called depression.

| >>585220 No, I've been depressed before. When I was depressed, I wanted to stop being depressed. That felt bad, to the point that it physically hurt. Also, it was different than normal emotions. It felt on top of everything, like I could still have happy moments and sad moments, but they were underneath a layer of 'everything is bad and nothing gets better'. The sadness I like is just a normal emotion like happy or angry.

| >>585287
Yeah. I guess most emotions are better than depression.

| > OP makes thread complaining about everyone being angry all the time
> the only argument against OP is that some people like to feel sad

..........................

| >>585364
That's probably because what OP says is true. It's hard to argue against something you agree with.

| That looks like proper socializing to me... I don't see anything wrong.
>inb4 you are blind

| >>585386 you are blind

Haha gotem

| >>585209 >When you are sad, do you think that you want to be happy as soon as possible?
