why do dippin dots give me the flu?
| Weird, well something similar happens to me, whenever I get the flu I just eat hot dogs and in the next day the flu is gone

| >>583021 it's called a placebo effect, cgp grey can't read. also, this is probably not placebo, but what i think is called confirmation bias: the only times OP remembers eating dippin dots are the times she got sick, because those are the times she thought 'woah dippin dots made me sick', thus making the memory more significant. placebos usually don't last long or have very delayed effects.
