| What, do you want opinion on your local police force or the entire concept of a police? I mean sure people can be good and bad, or power hungry and not. I personally think that more police should shout "STOP RIGHT THERE YOU CRIMINAL SCUM" instead of "freeze".

Imo cops are underfunded and undertrained, and on top of that the whole 'all cops are evil' thing going around make a lot of them nervous when dealing with any kind of minority so they might not do their job as well (see cop who got knocked out and a bunch of people laughed and took video)
| Personally didn't like cops for a long time but the bullshit with people on Twitter calling them all racist because they pulled over a black woman who refused to do what the officer asked changed my perspective

| In russia cops have a quota and they need to fill it or they would get less money. So if there are no crimes, they can just arrest people for nothing (if those people don't know the laws). It happened to me once (luckily, without any bad consequences).

| I don't wanna start an internet argument or anything, just wanna hear y'all thoughts on police.
I personally have mixed opinions on police. Neutral, leaning towards bad? One of my buddies is a cop and a wonderful guy, and most police I've met are helpful n kind. Then there's the ones you see on news and media who are power-hungry and fucked up. Also had an encounter with a cop like that simply for sitting on a sidewalk.
I think cops can do better at deescalating situations. Yuh.
