>>573921 no, it's Guile-Kun. Jokes aside, Rip to this man, media consumed him until he went to the abyss. This is just a small case of how bad society works in USA. Americans blame the fault is on videogames, weapons or drugs. This can be achive with none of these.
Back to Desmond, he was a good guy and I wish the best to him in the afterlife or whatever there is. He didn't deserve this. If you hate him, remember what you are hating is memes of a toxic comunnity he had to endure

>>573942>>574016 The both of you are fucking niggers at heart.
The case with Etika was quite curious, because it highlights what happens when someone goes in too deep with the internet, and should serve as a reminder to other personalities. Another thing to note is that this is the second time after Jeremy Meeks that the internet manages to bail people out of jail. Authorities shouldn't cave in to retards like that.

>>574124 Care to explain what "goes in too deep with the internet" means?
I have only known his story since him getting swatted last month or so. And in his last vid he mentioned that he got consumed by social media. But I don't get any of it. It seems like he just did stuff, enabled by his fans; but I didn't see anything outrageous.
Also, people found his stuff and he brought switch + spare clothes with him before he did it. Kinda feel like he didn't really plan it.

Maybe he got evicted with no money in the bank and decided to end it there? I remember he begged for lunch money back when he had an episode.

>>574194 he was followed by a toxic community he didn't like and he never wanted to get along. He tried to change that community many times but he couldn't achieve it. At the end that toxitixy consumed him and he couldn't pay attention to those who were good to him. He was too good of a person to stop caring about the toxicity, he wanted to fix it, he ended up eaten by it.
Please don't blame Desmond neither Etika on this, he didn't know what to do, that's how he ended up dead.

>>574195 It would be weird, he actually had good apartments with good equipment, he helped friends (+ problems) and he was a little alcoholic. Anyhow Etika is the kind of person who could live without any money and be happy. Unless he was in some serious gang shits I doubt the problem was money at all, maybe he was being threaten by some mafia shit and he actually was murdered. I really doubt it but who knows. Any way it was he is now resting in peace and that's what matters

>>574232 cluster b disorders are a hell of a drug the dude himself said social media fucked him up bad. in his last video he apologizes for shutting out everyone who tried to help and essentially felt like he had no one/nowhere to go except more social media. and with the garbage ass healthcare we have in the u.s., he never got the professional help that very well could've saved him
imagine being his mom atm. 2 sons dead within 10 fucking years of each other

>>574229 thanks for the explanation, but I'm sorry, I still didn't get it. The word "toxic" can mean anything nowadays, might as well replace it with "shit" and it would probably make more sense.
As I said previously, I only know him after the swat lifestream. I know that he's the reaction guy to nintendo stuff. So what's "toxic" thing that the fans made him experience or do?

>>574232 wait, gang? Murdered? The dude posted his last video, I won't buy this story without any solid evidence.
Plus, like I said, he begged for money when he had a breakdown. And then complained that he didn't have enough for (i think) a subway. And then also the swatting broke his apartment door. It makes more sense if the landlord bill it to him/ don't want him to stay there anymore due to safety reasons. Thus, evicting him.

>>574343 shit would be a good word, but shit isn't as poisonous as a community of people can get.
Imagine toxic as this example (not related to Etika): a mother is constantly blaming on his soon calling he useless and telling she should have aborted. Imagine this over days, years. That toxicity is afecting the kid and he probably will end up killing himself or his mother unless he run away. What the mother is doing is called toxicity.

>>574344 wtf no I was inventing that, I never heard anything about that, who knows maybe it happened, there is a 10% chance. We don't know the real reason but we know what got him to. Him begging for money is another cause of his mental illness, he too though he was a God and that only few of his fans deserved to see him.

Maybe he lied and to get rid of everyone he tried to become hateable, blocking any contact with friends and mimicking a certain shit person he gave money in the past. At the end that didn't work either, all he could do is end his own life.

>>574346 huh, what I saw after the swat was his fanbase basically split into two: -some fans who left him because he acted like an idot and refused help -some trolls/memers who encouraged him doing even stupider stuff, or at least complacent with how he act
I didn't really see people act "toxicly" like how you described. It's either "etika needs help" camp or "yea boi, keep being god" I guess I wasn't observing deep enough.

>>574348 ah, I see. Allright.
>>574349 Hm... he did got back to streaming at around E3, though. And if it was just an act to make people hate him, doxing himself wouldn't accomplish the goal... It just seems like he didn't commit to go to he normal or to be hated.
The spare clothes still bugged me, though...
