It feels boring honestly. I wish I could be weird.

Nice question, but... I don't know.

Being normal is the same as being mainstream. And that is not good. I envy weird people. They have a certain attraction to them that makes people intrigued.

>>560099 Just because you're normal, doesn't mean, you have to be mainstream

Just because, you are weird doesn't mean, you can't be mainstream either You can be awkward and and still try to follow the majorities opinion
Also, weird isn't just weird, you can be weird and shy in a sympathetic way or you can be weird in the way, that you wanna murder people

>>afc0db I agree on the mainstream stuff. But what I actually mean is being normal is like being generic. Generic means boring.
Also, I don't care how weird you are, whether it's shy kinda weird or psychotic kinda weird. I totallt dig them both. And there are surely more people out there sharing my preferences so don't worry.

Being not normal doesn't necessarily mean, that you're not being boring either Like if someone never leaves his house and never does anything, then that's not normal, but also pretty boring
People are way more complicated than just normal and not normal, there are many people in between, so you can't just put attributes to normal and not normal
Let's take a person, who is completely normal in public, but has some weird secret hobbies, do they belong to normal or weird?

>>560201 Yeah, that's the thing. I definitely wouldn't call myself generic or normal, or especially mainstream, but I am unbelievably boring. Which is an issue that I still can't find a way to fix.

>>560296 You've probably heard this already, but have you considered getting some hobby or studying an interesting topic
I wouldn't call myself all that interesting either, so I know your feeling and also know, that it's hard to do anything about it I'm actually at the point, where I got used to being boring But yeah, maybe try reading some obscure topic and then talk with friends about it or find online communities about it

>>560311 I've taken up countless hobbies and dropped all of them. I just don't have it in me to stay passionate about anything. And I guess I just don't care enough about day-to-day stuff to remember any of it and use it for small talk later.
