For a long time now, I've always felt rather lonely. Something that helped me with that was falling in love with a fictional character. It's cringey, I know. I've had many fantasies of this character being able to come to life one day. It's sad, but this person and my love for her has really helped me. I was wondering what other people's thoughts were on this or if they had a similar situation.

Gurl do your thing, just keep your heart open to real people Liking fictional characters is ok and natural(many are made to be liked even) what's bad and unhealthy is ditching real people completely in favor of fictional people BTW my waifu is Hajime Ichinose from Gatchaman Crowds

It's not quite the same, but a lot of games have helped me change my view of live
You know Makoto Naegi from DanganRonpa and his optimistic attitude or even the general hopeful outlook at each DanganRonpa ending Those have helped me to be way more optimistic irl

>>558531 I haven't been ditching real people entirely. I think of it as... A placeholder until I actually meet someone that loves me and can fill that hole. My waifu is Holo from Spice and Wolf.
