I need advice

| The only thing I'm never too lazy to do is music production. I could sit in front of my shit laptop composing and sound designing for days, no matter how depressed I am

The problem is, in my shitty country earning money with music is almost impossible. I'm trying to learn web dev for that reason but I always feel like I'm trying to accomplish something I'm not made for

What would you do in a situation like this... when the only talents and skills you have are useless

you can try to sell your music on bandcamp.com

| Bandcamp is a great place to sell music. It's where I get all of mine. You could also sell it to us! Good luck on the web dev though. It can be a pain, but is a pretty nifty skill to have. As for where to go and what to do from here, I don't have any advice, sorry.

| Sorry but the reality is it's hard as fuck to make money from music. Even if you are incredibly good, it takes years of networking and cultivating a fan base to make a living off of it.

If you want to be a professional musician you're still going to have to get a regular job to support yourself, it's nonnegotiable. This is why entertainers at clubs and stuff always reference their day job.

| Bandcamp has the problem, that you can pirate stuff from it very easily though

| Share your music on youtube and set up your bandcamp profile. Perhaps work with indie film/games producer too

| post it on YT! i'll listen!
what are your styles? get into witch house pls

| Learn web dev, make a bandcamp competitor site, grow a lot sell your site to bandcamp and enjoy composing while living off the profits

| >>556177 possibly there is a career in commercial production, like TV ads, movies, radio or stage shows. There may be a very specific place you fit that you haven't thought of, but there is a lot more to audio production commercially than just making music. It may feel like work, but maybe work you would be very good at, and that's the kind of work that is rewarding. Good Luck and keep an open mind.

| Just take a break from your preferred career and try other things. Literally random things. You see something even slightly interesting, try it. You may find something, or you may just want to do your other preferred career even more after and get a second wind.

| Find game studios that are in search for musicians.
