I want to own them. If they're going to be real, I need to learn to make them myself. I want to be able to modify them myself, to repair them when they break down. I want to replace myself with a self that can operate on itself. If it's attached to me, I want to control it completely.

| Apparently there's some autoimmune diseases in my genes, and schizophrenia. I'm young enough for it to not have an impact upon me, but I know I'll get there one day. I'm holding out, hoping for actual good artificial limbs and cyberbrains in my lifetime. Although I can't see the cyberbrain happening, limbs are taking some interesting steps forwards.

Kinetic to electric conversion is inefficient and bulky most of the times. You might want to wait until they figure out a way to turn food to usable electricity.

| This is all I think about every day. Whether I'm in a lecture, at work, standing in front of the stove, the only thing on my mind is amputating my disgusting human limbs and having mechanical fascimilies grafted on instead. Even when I'm chatting with a friend or studying or just walking around, I'll pat my throat or shoulders or thighs and think about how much happier I'd be if I couldn't feel them at all.
I'm crying. I just want a body I can repair. I can't grow a new one.
