Recently some people from my main group of friends began sharing really fascist ideas "The jews are trying to kill/replace all white people by bringing immigrants to their country" and things like that. This is specially worrying because shortly there will be elections in my country and the far-right seems to be gaining momentum significantly. How do I change their mind?

I don't know them for too long, a year more or less. I know some of them are good people and they don't want to irrationally kill/deport everyone that is not white. I want to keep being close friends with them, but I won't if they hold such extremist views.

Make them realize that immigrants are people too? Find and show them humane stories about them? But don't look for the preachy stories / stories that are too obviously trying to gain sympathies.

i'd just drop them tbh. no use wasting time and energy trying to change their mind when they already believe jews are killing all white people

I've got fascist friends too and, yeah, if politics matter to you, and you didn't join them, you won't be able to change their mind.
They're today's counter-culture, imagine trying to convince hippies in the 1960's that the Vietnam war was justified. Not gonna happen.

My friend turned out to be romantically interested in me to the point at which she killed any girls who tried to pursue me but I forgive her because the dropkicks she did with their heads were pretty fucking epic.

Why do you feel the need to change people? Just because what you think is right and above everything else? Let them think what they want.

If that person refuses to change, then it'd be best to end the friendship ASAP. Unfollow them on any social media account that you have, maybe even report their account if it contains any of fascist ideology.

>>533216>>533055>>532752 I can't become a fascist because to me it seems that all those crazy conspiracy theories seem just an excuse to be racist. I don't have anything against jewish people and the idea that a whole race is secretly plotting to destroy another one seems absurd.

>>533278 I don't want to turn this into a political discussion, but conspiracy theories only sound crazy because the government brands them like that, it doesn't want the truth to spread. The facts are there, you just don't want to believe because a lot of people (including 'authorities') say it's dumb and crazy, so you get on the wagon and ignore it.
*Looks at US president and the alt-right wave in Europe*
Yeah. The authorities totally believe in anti-authoritarianism and would never use a marginalized group as a scapegoat...
It's not like these authorities use the hatred against foreign people to divert attention from their actions and I don't recall a single authority talking about how they're going to keep people out of their country.
Nope. Not at all. Why would a authority ever be anti-authoritarian???

>>533298 where in that definition do you see a mention of race
Race war is just the topping on the cake for fascists. Even if they decide to somehow accept all skin colours you'd have to be an idiot to think a fascist dictator won't put you in a death camp for no reason to literally make you dig your own grave
Wakeup call. Fascists has been tried! Didn't go well...

Wanted to say "Fascism has been tried". But fascists have been tried for war crimes in the Nuremberg trials as well!!
Just read up on that and stop idolizing old German fucks who'd let their right wing death squads deal with you degenerates.
