| I like it for the subculture. Slowly collecting and building up a list of sites, each that were mentioned this one time in some obsuce forum that no longer exists, and then curating and maintaining that list, taking care to update it when a site goes down, making sure that you've already backed up that site to an archive of lost media. Sure there's bad things down there, but there are some pretty cool projects if you take your time to look around.
