There are only 2 genders
| What about people born with both parts or none? I think there should be a third gender for those who are born differently. Like an other category. I am meaning more along the lines of people born with a XXY chromasones or they have both a penis and vagina at the same time. Stuff like that.

Assumption of (physical) characteristics is pretty important in social dynamics. It could get difficult to keep track of everyone's (non-binary) preferences to avoid offending, especially if you've never met. Thoughts?
| Maybe we can all agree there are two primary socially defined genders in the west, and that non-binary is a necessary umbrella term which covers everyone who doesn't fall into those.
It's not that people have to be either primary gender, but since there are so many possible other ways someone could want to present, non-binary is the term society can successfully pick up and use.

Right now, I just can't view it as a necessary new term because I believe there exists a simpler way to go forward. I know that kind of opinion doesn't really help, but I'm waiting for concrete societal problems (which I don't see at the moment).
